PURPOSE
Summer house construction on ruins of a restaurant in a natural reserve between the see and a lagoon.
Situation
Finally the ruins had to be totally destroyed and the house totally rebuilt following the same plan. The instructions where to enable 6 persons to take advantage of the nature inside and outside of the house in the most ecological way posible.
Intervention
The idea was to have the house immersed in the nature like a boat in the sea. Therefore I created windows like frames on the landscapes and terrasses on different levels like boat decks giving different views. The different spaces are clean and convenient. The white walls and blue shutters are a wink to the greek islands.
